CURRENTLY DOING: EATING BREAKFAST
Hewwooo people!!! Weeeeeeee! I'm back! As if i went so far huh...Heheheh....how time flies...my body are aching, but i felt fresh all over...*winks*
My PPIS camp was at Punggol, a secluded place near a secluded beach. Across the ocean, there were lots of ships, but i have no idea whether it's still Spore or M'sia...The best was i got to see the sunrise...heheh...it was beautiful...nice and romantic...muahaha...
Made new friends, but i dont really mix with the leaders..i was one of the facilitators...i'm in-charge of Yellow Group which later turns into the Lemon-T group...hahah...Masyitah and Aishah was Red Group and Blue Group respectively...Another one was Kak Waty, Green Group...
I was lucky to get a bunch of gerls who were sporting, fun and crazee...on the 1st day, all of em were so quiet, i started to panic...there were no communication goin on btw em...but around evening they started to tok and soon become mad...heheh..there were 7 of them, aged btw 13 to 16:
Susy: The youngest of all (13 yrs)...the smallest, but the loudest of all...very cheeky and very playful...can be rude at times, but still can handle...(thumbs up)...she won the title Most Supporting Camper...
Asila: 14 yrs old...A replica of the local malay singer, Hetty Sarlene...very sweet but can be quiet at times...
Nadia: 16 yrs old...Typical minah with dyed hair...but my leader always said don ever judge a person by juz lookin, and she's right...Nadia was a very friendly girl...but she's a whining and pampered kind of gerl...she likes to say, "Kak Faraaaaaa..." U noe, those kind of whining...always laughing, she made a gd company...
Yasmin: 16 yrs old...A Madrasah Aljunied student...i nominate her as the Ms Personality, and yes she won the title...she's cool and she can read the Quran even 10 times better than me...*salutes*...i was closest to her in this group...
Lina: 14 yrs old...The quitest among the gerls...seldom talk and always kept to herself...her cousin was in a another group making her felt insecure...but sometimes she talked to me at night...
Sarah: 16 yrs old...the only O Level taker in my grp, she's a bright gerl...she won the title Most Supporting Dancer on the Ladies' Nite, coz she was great at all kinds of dance movement...i always talk to her about her studies and future plans...she aims to go to a good JC...
Nisha: 14 yrs old...she's the only one who dont really tok stuff with me coz she always "disappear" to sneak into another room with her friend...but still, she listens to instructions and can be helpful at times...
So how? Wat do u think of em? I spent 3 days 2 night with em, its impossible for me not to summarise em...i played, ate, laughed and talked with em...in fact, i spent more time with my own campers than with the other leaders, who were mostly older than me...i shared a room with my campers, and this tightens our relationships...im used in my Red Cross where i always treat my gerls like my own siblings...Anyway, i'm proud of my gerls, coz 3 of them won the 3 titles...Best Camper was not from my group though, but its ok...i knew they had fun...
The room was shiok! A BIGGGGGG thumbs up! It's a dorm...u noe, those kind of hostels bedroom...the double-decker beds...juz like NS people...the different is, ours have air-con...muahahaha...NS men don have air-con rite??...hehehe...its my first ever camp where i got to sleep in an air-conditioned dorm...other camps usually slept in uz normal beds ot tents rite??...hehehe...and this time, its air-con and being a faci, i didnt need to pay a single thing!...The campers had to pay 60 bucks for e camp...heheh..
The bez event of the camp: ICE SKATING. Its on the 2nd day, at Jurong. Really. I don even noe how to roller blade...i remembered during my sec 2 year, i went for the roller blade classes organised by The Wellness Club, but i still failed to roller blade...and this time, i really panic mann...first half hour i was holding and huggin my hero; the side railings...i dont dare to turn right and left...but soon later i began to learn to jump on the ice...woohooo!...shiok!...then slowly i walked and walked...i fell a lot of times, my bum felt so cold and hard...hahax...one of the leaders, Kak Umairah fell and fractured her ankle bones...she was sent to NUH...urgh...bad...but overall, i enjoyed my time ther, but i still dunnoe how to skate...well, maybe a tiny miny bit... "P
On the last day, before goin back to the PPIS HQ for Prize Presentation, we went to Jamiyah Darul Taqrim, an old folks home at Tampines...it was fun...reminds me of my Red Cross Days, again... Only this time, the old folks were mostly malay citizens...my group combined with Aishah's group to perform a short and last minute Dikir Barat performance...some of the sporting old folks went up on stage and danced with us...heheh...so farnie...but its great to see their smiles...
