I wonder who was the founder for the sports named Softball. I dont think the name suits the ball. Coz it doesnt describe the ball at all. Its not a soft ball. It is hard, and its very dangerous.
Had my very first Sports n Wellness session this morning. It was fun, i love it to bits. Didnt noe that learning softball can be very fun and i enjoyed it very much. [Oh no, i cant believe im sayin this. Miss Shivali, u shld be proud of me.] We concentrate on the basics, which was throwing and catching. As i mentioned juz now, the ball was very hard. And u gotta be careful when u throw it to ur partner. My bone fingers are still aching now. No wonder those baseball players wore big gloves during the games. I think next week, we'll start practising with the gloves on. Cant' wait! wheee~~!
My three other girlfriends from my class joined softball too; Ayu, Charlene n Hui Ting. Shu Wen joined badminton instead. Wonderful to be together with them this time. This whole SNW thingy is so much interesting then sitting down in lectures n tutorials. If only they can have more of these. Its healthy lifestyle. Should have more of it. Hmm.
Met up with Syira to hav lunch together today at canteen 1. She had 2 hrs break, so i decided to meet her. She took swimming for her SNW. Hers was yesterday. They were learning breast stroke. Cool huh. Then, headed to the library for a while and then went to Clementi with Ayu. Needed to hand in the NKF card to the SingPost. Haizz. I only collected 27 bucks. Thx to my father, who actually brought it to his work and asked his colleages for the donations. Heh. 27 bucks is gd enuf anyway.
Ayu n i wanted to buy this pair of pants from bossini so much. Juz 28 bucks, a very gd price for a very nice pair of pants. But well, no money. *sighs* Need to save more, coz we've been purchasing our books. All in all, i spent about $67 buying the books for the modules this semester. And this only includes 3 second hand txtbks, and 1 new textbk. One more book still not purchased, coz its an elective module and it cost $30. Thinkin whether i shld buy or not...
Haish. Felt sooo tired today. Had a very nice sleep in the afternoon juz now. Once i reached home, i ate, bath and sleep. Phewww. Nice.
I shall end today's entry with more pics on softball. Suddenly i had this strong liking for the sport. And so i shall aim to practise more and keep improving. Maybe this pics will help motivate me more. Noticed that the pics showed women playin softball. [Self-motivation goin on] Heh. Njoy!
