The semi-finalists for girlz
We won! We won 1st placing! Wohoooooo! Check out Aidah's blog for pics. Alhamdulilah, im so hapeee for us, team AROMA (dont ask me about the name, coz it was Ayu n Nani who chosed tat name). I cant believe that we won. All thx to Ayu n Nani, coz they were floorballers and obviously they knew more bout the games. They gave me many tips and pointers b4 the games, and alhamdulilah it went ok. During the final game, against Dudettes, i tripped over one of the girls' stick and sprained my ankle. I was trying hard not to limp, because my speed will affect the game. Aniwae gerlz, we had great fun right? Congrats to Duduttes for 2nd placing and the other 2, Unknown and NoSodium. Great game to all of ya. So now, im coming home with a swollen ankle. The price of a newcomer. Haha.
The prize presentation was at 1pm, but Ayu and i decided not to wait for it coz we hav to meet the CCC comm at Changi to reccee the chalets. We wanted to stay actually, because we want to take some photos during the prize presentation. Who doesnt want to miss tat right? But after thinkin for a while, we decided that we had to sacrifice that because we cannot afford to make the CCC comm frustrated again. Nani will be keeping for us the prizes and trophies i guess. So we bathed, changed, ate lunch and rushed to Tampines MRT and took bus 29.
It was a very tiring day for me and Ayu. I was limping, and feeling all drained out. The comm members consists of Syahidah, Shairah, Hidayah, Zul, TZul, Iqbal, Rahim, Ashraf, Ayu and myself. 5 girls and 5 guys, just nice. Syahidah said they went to all chalets, and are still thiking on which one to chose. They even went and surveyed the Changi Hospital! We missed that! They said that the place was quite scary, even though its broad daylight. Oh my, tat shld be interesting. In one of the pics in Shairah's digi cam, there was this one small white circle behind Zul's head. Is that juz the lighting, or something else?
The whole reccee thingy was more of an outing actually. We went to all chalets again, because me n ayu didnt get a chance to survey. We took pics and posed here and there. Will upload it once they send me. The guys were making noises and laughing non-stop with their own silly jokes. Syahidah was havin a hard time, poor Vice-Chair. But whatever it is, we had great fun. There's 10 of us in the comm, and insyaallah we'll make this event a success if everyone is cooperating.
Gotta get prepared for my madrasah classes later. After tat, Ayu will be coming over to my hse to do the MMA project. Today midnite is the due date. Wish us luck. We need that. =|
