And so today, mom was being her usual singaporean kanchiong-ness, and thus the 3 of us(mom, dad and me) lined up for the bubur masjid at Sultan Mosque. You could imagine that, 6 packets in total. 2 packets for each of us. I was staring hard in front, afraid of meeting any familiar faces. Sheessh. It was all pakciks and makciks, so that made me a makcik too. Uh huhh. And so nenek finished eating one whole packet during buka. My dad? 2 packets of it.
Kenyang sungguh keluargaku ini hari.
Oh and yes, i saw Noraliza Osman in the midst of the large and noisy crowd along the stalls. She was dabbing her face with a piece of tissue elegantly. Kesian jugak, takut2 make-up cair pulak nanti. Guess she must be feeling real hot. Hehheh. But she looked real pretty in person. No wonder the Miss Singapore title.
Took a cab home, because we couldnt walk around in a bus with all those big plastics. Mom bought kuihs of all kuihs. And murtabak, nasi ayam, and etc etc. And of coz the 6 packets of bubur. In the cab, it was politics conversation between my dad and the taxi driver all the way. I have no idea how they could strike a conversation on tat topic.
-shakes head-
But really, such friendly drivers should be given some awards. They made our day pleasant. Thats it, IF you met the right driver.
