It was Larkin again on Tuesday, this time with the mission of kuih pasang siap. Mom and dad was rounding the whole place to scan for the common kuihs. Its the easiest way out, so this year no baking of cookies or kuihs or anything. Not even my usual honey cornflakes. Haish. Hanizah has been asking for the cornflakes, but sorry gerlfren. Not this year, next year maybe. Double haish.
It envies me to be seeing the rest of my friends busy making this and that kuih. I bet some of u (anyone of u readers who's readin this) must be making at least one kuih. Not my family i guess. Due to some reasons, we decided to opt to have all ready-made kuih this year. Hmmhppphh.
Anyways, yesterday i had a fantastico-wonderfulicious time with my old sec sch best buds at Geylang. That would be fad, hanizah, yas, ahmad and myself. We met at Bugis and Ahmad (being the only guy in the group) surprised all of us ladies by giving us each one of us one real sunflower! Aaah, bunga hidup pulak tu! Thank you so much buddy, it must have cost you some bucks. Really, all of us appreciate it. Thank You!
And so the four us girls stood in the mrt with bright sunflowers in our hands, and all the way at Geylang people kept looking at us non-stop. And im definitely pissed off with the mat-mat deng dengs and mat-mat murtabaks who kept teasing us. Alright i guess its not really usual for 4 gerls to be bringing 4 identical sunflowers throughout the bazaar, but u dont have to poke around and make fun out of it right? Like when they started to shout in a singing tone, "..Mari beli murtabak flower kuning! Mari beli!" Oh my god, i wish i could do something. Grrr.
See lah ahmad, what youve done to these people. Even the kakak flower asked me about it. Heh. And the flower has turned so layu by the end of the day, ive no idea how to make it 'alive' back. Since its my first time receiving a flower, what more a bunga hidop, i'm afraid it'll not survive for long. But i'll try my best to save its life. For the sake of friendship of coz. It reminds me of the 5 of us.
-smiles-
And oh, i was indecisive as always. It took us a longggg time rounding the whole bazaar to find me a nice baju kurung. My budget is below $50, but trust me u cant really get a nice one below that amount. Finally, i saw this piece of baju punjabi. Big thank yous to the old besties who helped me make the decision (becoz they couldnt tahan to walk ard any longer) and finally i bought it. Yas was the best fashion advisor ever, and she made my indecisiveness less toturing. HAHA. Thank you thank you. Im satisfied. Alhamdulilah.
Im all set for DeepaRaya. Are you? Heh.
=p

'Layu' after a whole day at Geylang. =(

The whole view of it. Its longgg. And its real. Heh.

View of the flower this morning. Ive put it in the bottle with some salt.
Alright, lets hope it survives under my unprofessional care. Which is kind of impossible, becoz all this while ive always failed at handling my mom's plants outside the house. Only the cactus survive, of cos, because it doesnt need anything at all. hahah.
So anyone, any gardening tips i might use?
-winks-
Have a good day readers!
Its a long entry, so we'll stop here.
=D
PS:
Oh yes thank you so much old frens for the wonderful time. I missed you guys, and i hope we'll keep in touch always. Study hard, we'll succeed no matter where we are! InsyaAllah!
And fad, yas and hanizah. Lets see who's sunflower survives the longest. hehe. She'll get a free meal. Let these flowers tightens our friendship bonds. hugs!
