The one i told you about my IS business image & etiquette class. We were divided in groups of 5, coming at different time slots. Mine was at Wisma. And you know what?
It was a disaster.
I hate shopping.
To start the day off, i took a cab coz i tot i was late. Taxi driver didnt know the way to Wisma, and he actually took out a map! Cost me $9.70 with an additional charge for ERP. That was not supposed to be the amount. Usual cost from home to town is only ard 8 bucks.

I was 10 mins earlier, thk gdness. Michelle came soon, and she gave the instructions to start looking for 3 business suits within a certain budget. Formal business interview, Everyday workplace attire and Friday Casual Business. And she gave us only 20 mins.
Shopping for 3 business suits in 20 minutes?

For an indecisive person like me, i took about 10 mins to decide wat to eat for lunch. I spent more than one day finding one person's birthday present. I took the whole day to buy a punjabi suit at geylang before raya. I took more than one day to do normal casual shopping.
So. I bet i scored a very low mark for this assesment. I can feel it by the look of Michelle's expressions. Everything was not right. The colours doesnt match, the length of the pants was too long, the texture wasnt good. And so on and on. Ive always knew that i dont have such bombastic fashion sense. And so today proved it all. urgh.
I felt guilty towards the salesgirls there. They were nice and very helpful, finding all sizes for different kinds of fabric. But we are not doing real shopping here. We were just normal plain students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, having an individual assesment on business wear. And not some Executive Officers or Senior Staff from ABC company.

If only i have the option to go to Hejab Iran or Angulia. That'll be better isnt it? Nice muslimah business wear and pant suits. No need to match this blouse and that pant. This pant and that jacket. And etc etc etc...
This whole entry is about the shopping trip. So disappointing, so demoralizing. Ive been thinking about it for the whole day. It was too rushing, i just couldnt concentrate with all the ppl looking. It makes me grumpy lah.
Next week is a makeup and skincare lesson. Rite, a grooming class this time. Im so not looking forward to it. We have to bring our own cosmetics.
I will have to rummage thru mom's things then.
