It was Christmas lunch for all staff on Friday, so that saves a lot.
Free coupons for everyone. Nasi Bryani plus a cup of jelly and a cup of tea/coffee. It was such a big lunch. BUT, imagine those calories. Tskk.
Almost every department in the office were exchanging gifts. We got a box of chocolates from HR, and some gifts from colleague. I see people sneaking into other people's places to put a gift or a paper bag with ribbons, on the table.
And everyone left office on Friday with the same words.
"Merry Christmas!!!"
Hairan sungguh, negara kita ni dah menjadikan sambutan Hari Natal itu seolah-olah seperti sambutan umum untuk masyarakat di Singapura. Besar-besaran pulak tuh. Nak kata org Singapura ni org om putih, tak jugak. Saje je sambut, meriahlah gitu kononnyer kann.
Atau mungkin, hanya sebagai gimik utk menarik perhatian warga asing aka pelancong lah tu. Kita ni dalam masyarakat majmuk, terpaksalah layankan ajer. Bila mereka ucapkan gitu, kita senyum ajelah. Dah memadai lah tu, walaupun takde ucapan dari kita. Yang hairannyer, mana-mana pergi mesti mereka berikan ucapan seperti yg dicakapkan tadi. Mcm dah jadi sambutan umum utk semua org. Lumrah utk mereka ucapkan kepada semua. Betul ke tuh??
So it was VivoCity after work on Friday.
Surprisingly, it wasnt as crowded as in town. Such a big relief, becoz i couldnt handle anymore of those. Had dinner at Banquet, but didnt try the food becoz i was still full from lunch. Sitting and looking around can be fun.
That was nice, wasnt it?

And so as i count down to the end of IP, something came up in the back of my mind.
Which have been there all along actually.
My education road is pretty average and now im wondering which job i could hold for in the future. To a certain extend its a bit worrying, becoz the first thing you had in mind after graduation will be career (for girls mostly). So tat will be the next big question mark drawn & pasted in our heads. Unless of coz, u already have all your plans (and money) lined up and set aside accordingly.
Which i dont.
Plans are not there (yet), becoz i dont know where exactly im heading to.
Lets leave those thoughts aside, and let it come back randomly on one of these days. Sooner or later, we have to think about that dont we?
Yup.
Time to hit the bed.
Cold weather these days, oh what a perfect ambience to zzzzz...
