So currently my place wants an upgrade from manual to computer. They are still practising manual work + endless paperwork + endless ring files + endless headache. The first time i was introduced to their working flow, i felt shocked plus a bit of uneasiness. Perhaps us being students are so used to computers, wireless, and etc etc.
Im surprised to see Windows 98 as the operating system. And every other things depend on papers, and more papers. Just to figure out one thing will require so much time + efort.
Paperwork = Time consuming + More work
Computers = Efficient + Enhanced Workflow
So tell me how do i explain the above equation to the people here. Ive been facing this problem ever since i stepped in here, and given this task. Coz i noe people hate changes. After five months being here, i still think they hate changes.
I remembered the lecturer used to say old users treat computers as their enemy, while young users treat it as their toy. Heh. True, no?
Now everyone kept grumbling of the whole system upgrade. It's not even the initial stage of the implementation, yet my ears are getting negative feedbacks from here and there. One day myself and the system will get blamed if anything goes wrong.
So how??
The only thing i love is working with the vendors. They provided me with many details of their work experiences. And that, is truly the real world of IT. I dont think i'm up to that. Perhaps i'll just stick being the liaison party of an IT Project. Now i might as well find solutions on how to impose positive attitude towards system upgrade on these staff.

The galfrens of np are making plans of buka session. The gerls of sec sch are making plans too. And the gerls of npmss too. I would want to, but situation would not let me go to all of the above. Perhaps i can only make it for one...
Life's been good alhamdulillah.
