Are never easy?
1st July (Tue) was my last day at (insert company name) Engineering Works Pte Ltd. I grab the opportunity to take some pics with the colleague. On 5th July (Sat), i came back for a last round of handover and took some pics again.
This was my first permanent company, which has willingly took me in as their staff when i had no experience, other than my poly attachment experience. They took me as an IT cum admin staff, in-charge of their new system. Along the way, more and more admin work was thrown in, that i had difficulty administrating their new system. There wasnt a good communication in the management, and i decided to call it quits.
Anyway. I'm still grateful for the experience i had for about 14 months there. Problem-solving skills, communication and phone etiquette, dealing with difficult clients & vendors (AND COLLEAGUES!), and some additional knowledge on the server platform.
Alhamdulillah.
The pics, shall follow-up and continue the talking.

Walk straight, and turn right. You'll be greeted by the Bangla workers in the morning while they waited for their lorry.

My then desk. Very untidy and very unorganised. I'll miss it tho. :(

The small space in the store which i made as my prayer place.

My favourite Bangla worker, Kavi! Helpful, funny and hardworking guy.

My accountant, Millie.

Ley Har (from another company) and my payroll girl, Wynne.

My cute Uncle Lim, one of the lorry drivers. When asked to take pic, he stood still and said "SEDIAA!". Hehe.

Another cute Uncle, Ng. Lorry driver for my PSA workers. The one who always tumpang me on his lorry. The one who is still asking me to stay on.

Jean, the closest colleague. And the only unmarried staff, other than me. (Which explains why she is my closest). Heh.

My workshop engineer, Raja. The only one who is intellectual and IT-savvy, thus making my job a bit simpler. A brother to me who gives very good advices.

Gift from Ley Har & Wynne.

"To Fara. All the best & take care."

Handphone pouch and chocolates.

Gift from Ng. hehehehehehehe.

Parker pen, and a diary. Sheesh.

Last but not least, my replacement. The new Indian girl, Beena. Hope she'll do fine taking over. :)

That, done.
*phew*
Moving away from IT line, and engineering items.
:)
My new employer is sending me and the rest of my batch for courses to equip ourselves in the working environment- school. Have heard many stories that is quite a nightmare to work in schools, with nasty teachers and busy VPs. But i'll take that as a challenge. The one who recommended me, is doing fine in her school. Seeing that she is an outspoken girl, it might be much easier for her.
I guess i'll have to start opening my mouth. And get the right words out to the right people. I'm getting posted to a girls' school for an understudy attachment, before they post me to a permanent one. Of which, i've got to train myself to be a bit more adaptable to changes and, be more confident.
Insya allah.
Seeing that the school is just a few metres away from the school which my bro is teaching, i shall ask him to tumpang me on evenings. Ho ho.
------------
I'd pray that things will go easy.
I hope this dream isnt just a dream of my own. I hope we could work things out and achieved something by next year. With career paths setting in, i hope we could reach the minimum goal we tried to aim for. I am afraid to dream big, but i will never stop hoping and praying.
And i hope it goes the same way for you too.
:)
Taking care people.
